Overview

This year’s Speed Mentoring event, hosted in collaboration with the ICE Early Careers Network, is designed to connect emerging professionals with experienced mentors in a supportive and engaging environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask industry related questions, gain guidance, and build meaningful connections with professionals across the sector.

The event is structured around a series of short, focused mentoring sessions, allowing participants to explore key areas such as career progression, building new skills, communication and professional development. Each session encourages open, practical discussion, enabling attendees to gain insight into areas they are looking to develop.

Participants will join small groups and spend approximately 15 minutes with each mentor. This fast-paced, roundtable format allows for multiple meaningful conversations in a short amount of time, encouraging questions, fresh perspectives and valuable guidance.

The event is designed to inspire, inform, and empower attendees with practical advice and perspectives they can take forward in their careers. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take the next step, Speed Mentoring is a unique chance to network, learn, and grow within the civil engineering profession.
