Book nowTransport Conference Malaysia 2026 (TRANSCON 2026) is a one-day conference organised by the Highway and Transportation Engineering Technical Division (HTETD) of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), co-organised with ICE Malaysia, and held in collaboration with Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA). The conference will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, consultants, researchers and academics to discuss emerging trends, challenges and innovations shaping the future of transportation.
The event will explore key topics including smart mobility systems, AI applications in transportation, intelligent transport systems (ITS), sustainable transport solutions and data-driven mobility planning. The programme features keynote presentations by prominent leaders from government agencies, academia and the transport industry, alongside technical paper presentations covering the latest research and practical case studies.
TRANSCON 2026 aims to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, professional networking and collaboration among stakeholders across the highway and transportation sector.
The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), established in 1959, aims to promote and advance the science and profession of engineering across all disciplines. It also facilitates the exchange of information and ideas related to engineering.
