G&S: One-Day Seminar 2021 – Shaping a sustainable eco-city, Hong Kong

The concept of eco-city has been gaining momentum and widely implemented in different aspects of civil engineering in urban cities. Different sectors, from clients, consultants, to universities participate in achieving sustainability whilst promoting infrastructure development to support economic growth.

The initiatives of pursuing a ‘smart, green, resilient’ global city have been brought to actions in form of waste management, urban greenery planning, and flood resilience development.

The theme of ICE HKA G&S One-Day Seminar 2021 will be ‘Shaping a sustainable eco-city: liveability, harmonisation, regeneration’.

Speakers from various organisations participating in different aspects of environmental applications in civil engineering projects will share insights and experience including innovation in urban waste management, green neighbourhood in high-density high-rise cities, phase one of integrated waste management facilities phase and nullah revitalisation in Hong Kong.
