Join Elizabeth Orchard CEng MICE, strategic land technical director at Ptarmigan Land for a presentation about the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

The UN SDGs are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.

Elizabeth will give a brief overview of the 17 UN SDGs and will share her observations on the challenges and opportunities for civil engineers in applying them in projects. Elizabeth will also share practical suggestions on how to easily adapt thinking and approach day-to-day to deliver sustainable, and even regenerative, development.

This event is an ICE West Midlands Chair’s event.
