Kristian joined Mott MacDonald’s Water Utilities Division as a Graduate Civil Engineer in September 2024. Since then, he worked on a broad range of projects—from ports and pipelines to network systems—but his main focus has been on water treatment works.

Charbel Hanna

Charbel Hanna is a Ph.D. student at UCL in the CEGE department, specializing in fire safety and energy efficiency in façade systems. He holds a master’s degree in Energy from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese American University (LAU), where he was actively involved in research projects.

With experience in both consulting and contracting, he has worked with leading firms such as Dar Al-Handasah and Nesma & Partners through internships before joining Erga Group, an engineering and consulting firm. In addition to his technical expertise, he has taken on key leadership roles, including Vice President of the AMSE Club at LAU and Vice President of the Bureau des Étudiants (BDE) at IP Paris. Currently, he serves as a Ph.D. representative, actively contributing to the academic and professional community

Parsa Tashakkori graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2021 with an MSc in Civil Engineering and Management. He is currently working as a Sub Agent on the HS2 project, contributing to constructing the 515-metre Edgcote Viaduct, a structure where over 60% of its elements are manufactured off-site.

Niko is a Coastal Engineer within the Maritime team in London. Niko has utilised his expertise in numerical modelling to support a wide range of coastal and maritime projects. He is actively involved in analysing coastal processes, leading technical design and numerical modelling, and acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders to ensure our work aligns with the latest industry standards. He has experience in sediment transport, assessing the impact of storms on beach morphology, and examining long-term trends in sediment movement.
