Overview
We are going back to see M27 J10 improvement scheme after its successful box slide. So, if you joined us last time or missed out, this is your opportunity to see how the site has progressed over the past year.
The scheme involves upgrading the junction to be an ‘all moves’ junction, aiming to reduce journey times. The works involves a new motorway underpass, adding three new slip roads, and creating a new dual carriageway to link the slip roads to the existing road network.
During the event there will be a talk on the scheme, with a focus on the works undertaken over the Christmas closure period, alongside, a walking tour of the site to see the completed box structure, carriageways and some of the active travel options on site.
Minimum PPE:
- Hi vis jacket
- Safety boots
- Hard hat
If you can, please wear the following PPE:
- Hi vis trousers
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
Please arrive on site in your PPE.
If you have limited mobility, there will be limited spaces in some site vehicles to give you the opportunity to see the site. Please let us know if this is the case when you sign up.
This is joint event between the South Branch and South Branch ECNet and will be a good networking event for those early in their careers.
