David Agnew

David is AECOM’s Environment Water & Energy (EWE) End Market Principal Designer (PD) Lead for the United Kingdom & Ireland. Through this role David delivers PD and CDMA services on variety of projects, manages a team PDs and CDMAs, and drives compliance assurance and competence standards across the AECOMs EWE end market.

David is a Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE CEng), Institution of Civil Engineers (Health and Safety Registered) and Incorporated Member of the Association of Project Safety. 

With 30 years’ experience in Wastewater Treatment, Wastewater Infrastructure, Landfill, Windfarm, Sports Pitch and Building projects, David leads and works within teams delivering projects for both public and private clients. 

David is committed to improving Health and Safety in the construction industry. He is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (Northern Ireland) Health and Safety Special Interest Group and regularly contributes to their seminars. David is also a member of the Environment Agency’s SHEW Designers Forum and Northern Ireland Waters Senior Leadership H&S Collaboration Group. 

Wendy Moore

Wendy Moore BEng (Hons) IEng MICE DipNEBOSH MIIRSM

Wendy is a professionally qualified civil engineer, with 17 years’ experience within the construction industry.

She graduated in 2007 from the University of Ulster with a First Class Honours in civil engineering and again in 2015, at the University of Warwick after successfully completing the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

In April 2023, Wendy moved to Translink as Infrastructure SHE manager, where she manages SH&E resources engaged in managing signalling & telecoms & permanent way; development of the safety management system and environmental management. Wendy also holds the post of vice chair of the Northern Ireland Safety Group. 

Chris Barclay

Christopher started his career in the construction industry in 2011 as a trainee site engineer with the former Patton Group. This was followed by working as a site supervisor based on contracts in Scotland.

In 2016 Christopher joined McLaughlin & Harvey as a SHEQ advisor working on several large-scale high value projects across the UK, including multimillion-pound infrastructure and commercial development projects.

Christopher joined HSENI in 2020 and has worked in the Construction Group for this period.
