Overview

The Institution of Civil Engineers is calling on more professionally qualified Engineering Technicians to step forward as professional reviewers. Your practical experience and specialist knowledge are invaluable in assessing candidates undertaking their Professional Review.

Play a vital role in helping your fellow technicians achieve the same professional recognition you have earned. By contributing your expertise, you will make a meaningful contribution to the technician community while furthering your own professional development.

The training provided will ensure you feel confident and prepared, and you'll be paired with an experienced reviewer for your first reviews.

What are the benefits?

  • Broaden your industry knowledge by learning from candidates' work
  • Expand your professional network as you collaborate with other reviewers
  • Develops your critical thinking
  • Contribute towards your CPD
  • Uphold professional standards in the technician community
  • Access to exclusive events, such as the Annual Reviewers Conference

Join our webinar to hear directly from an Engineering Technician reviewer about what the role involves. You’ll also get an overview of the application and training process, followed by a Q&A.
