Overview

GRAHAM successfully completed a 4.1MW, 5.6MWH energy storage facility, located adjacent to the Dunore Water Treatment Works in 2024.

This innovative solution, designed and built by GRAHAM, effectively stores surplus renewable energy from approximately 24,000 solar panels constructed by GRAHAM in 2018.

The facility supports NI Water’s goals of reducing their carbon footprint, providing cost-efficient power for customers and contributing to sustainability goals becoming one of the first public sector organisations to install a battery energy storage system in Northern Ireland.
