Overview
Join Beth Williams of Build Collective and Dr James Norman from the University of Bristol to explore the principles of net zero building design, brought to life with case studies and practical examples.
This webinar will consider approaches to designing net zero buildings and challenge engineers to consider reducing the carbon footprint of their building first, not further down the design line. It will look at current approaches. including referencing the new RIBA plan of work.
Using case studies, the webinar will look at designing with timber and PassivHaus buildings, highlighting the engineering considerations in these practical examples.
