Overview
The presentation will be delivered by Simon Wray, Managing Director at Specialist Project Integration (SPI) and the Infrastructure Lead at The BIMstitute. Simon is an information management specialist with over 20 years’ experience working in the construction industry. He is dedicated to creating innovative solutions that address the challenges faced by project and portfolio managers.
SPI provides over 20 services through three specialist business units: Information Management, Engineering Management and Modelling & Simulation. From project controls and major programme BIM management to 4D scheduling and Infrastructure Digital Twins, SPI helps advance the industry and mitigate risks for clients across the globe.
Simon will showcase how the Construction Industry is using new and innovative tools and systems to provide efficient, state of the art, sustainable solutions. In particular, the presentation will focus on how these are being used during the construction and subsequent asset management phases.
Simon will reveal some of the challenges that the industry currently faces, whether it be from Designers, Contractors or Clients, and will explore how the industry will continue to evolve over the coming years.
