Overview

Join us for a special event on how to take your engineering judgement to the next level.

Harbinder Singh Birdi, creative director of Birdi & Partners and Fellow of the ICE, will be giving a talk on bettering your engineering judgement in a way that you have never experienced before. This is closely linked to the role of the design champion, enabling the National Infrastructure Commission’s design principles. This aims not only to secure higher quality infrastructure for end users, but also to deliver wider public benefits for climate, communities and places.

Harbinder was commissioned by the ICE to interview over 25 of the leading figures, from clients to engineers and architects within the field of infrastructure design, and will be describing their thoughts on how good design principles and governance are critical for the successful delivery of major projects.
