Charity Rose
Charity Rose is a Chartered Engineering Geologist at AtkinsRéalis and supports the safe, sustainable delivery of complex construction and infrastructure schemes.
In addition to her technical role, Charity is an active advocate for equality, health and wellbeing in the construction industry.
Charity was named one of the top 20 women in ground engineering by Ground Engineering Magazine in 2025 and is recognised for her work highlighting the impact of inadequate welfare provision on site, including petitioning the Health and Safety Executive to improve access to sanitary disposal facilities.
Charity’s advocacy focuses on ensuring that basic site standards support dignity, safety and inclusion for all workers.
Charity regularly leads discussions on women’s health in construction, including menstruation and workplace policy, and is passionate about driving meaningful organisational change.
Through speaking, collaboration and professional leadership, she seeks to challenge industry norms and help create a more inclusive and supportive construction sector.
Charity is an active member of Bold as Brass the network for women in heavy industries. Bold as Brass amplifies the voices of advocacy, campaigns for women’s safety in heavy industry, and offers members access to free career coaching.
Their aim is to disrupt the status quo long enough to make a lasting impact on workplace culture.
