Overview

Seven years have passed since the Paris Agreement where the overarching goal was set to hold “the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels” and try “to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.” To stay below 1.5 °C of global warming, emissions need to be cut by roughly 50% by 2030, which is now seven years away. During this talk, the panel will discuss where Australia is on this journey through the lenses of people, processes, and technology.

This event has been jointly organised by the ICE New South Wales Association and IStructE.
