Overview

The NEC4 suite of contracts represents a modern and collaborative approach to procurement and project management in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Developed by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), NEC4 builds upon the principles of its predecessor, NEC3, with enhanced flexibility, clarity, and efficiency. It is designed to foster proactive collaboration, reduce disputes, and deliver better project outcomes through clear communication and shared responsibilities.

NEC4 contracts are structured to support a wide range of project types—from engineering and construction to professional services and supply contracts. They emphasize early warning mechanisms, risk management, and transparent cost control, making them particularly effective in complex and dynamic project environments.

Join us for an insightful session with Steve Baker and Nicola Richardson, who will explore NEC4’s key features, contract options, and practical advantages. They will also highlight how NEC4 supports modern project delivery priorities, including sustainability, digital integration, and value-driven outcomes.
