Dipl. Ing. Peter Günther

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Peter Günther is the Technical Sales Director at MAURER SPS GmbH. With over 32 years of professional experience in the field of bridge bearings, Peter has significantly contributed to major infrastructure projects around the globe. He graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Gießen/Friedberg in 1992 and has worked with MAURER since then, starting as a Design Engineer and later advancing to International Project Manager and eventually Technical Sales Director.

Peter has managed and contributed to iconic projects including the Lehrter Bahnhof in Berlin, the Viaduc Millau in France, the Tsing Ma Bridge in Hong Kong, the Signature Bridge in Delhi, the Bogibil Bridge and Etihad Rail in India, the HS2 project in the UK, and the Rail Baltica project in Latvia. His expertise spans MSM® spherical bearings, shear keys, and high-load solutions for bridge and rail infrastructure.
