Overview
Join ICE Hereford and Worcester for a webinar focusing on the importance of reinforced concrete, one of the most frequently used materials in civil engineering.
This presentation will explain why it can be vulnerable to degradation, corrosion, why this can cause serious problems, as well as how it can be prevented and how to plan a repair programme.
During this webinar, the presenters will highlight why it is vital for civil engineers to understand the cause of corrosion in order to efficiently produce an effective repair and identify how that repair needs to be undertaken. They will also explain the importance of finding the actual cause of why concrete is not meeting the expectations and that failing to do so could result in the structure being compromised during the repair process.
