Overview

Coastal erosion of a sand dune threatened the integrity of the 11th green of the West Links Golf Course at North Berwick, East Lothian, Scotland.

EnviroCentre supported the club by initially undertaking an options identification and appraisal in order to determine an appropriate solution before leading the planning and tendering processes and supervising the successful contractor on site.

Join us to learn more about the work including sand-filled geotextile containers that were used in reinstating the dune.

This event is joint organised event by ICE North West Geotechnical Group and the UK Chapter of the International Geosynthetic Society.
