Overview

As project professionals we’re all familiar with the cost influence curve, yet many projects still fail even before projects start. The reason being that multiple factors come into place that influence the scoping phase of a project. Throughout the presentation we will look to explore which factors come into play and how they impact projects. From there we will discuss how as project professionals we can work to address these issues and re-gain stakeholder trust.

Re-gaining stakeholder trust will require a large industry change, but it can also be supported with many up-and-coming project controls smart solutions. We will be a brief overview of the smart solutions LogiKal is currently using on many major projects to support with setting projects up for success. Solution such as the 5D software, which earned LogiKal the award of innovative project of the year 2022, at the project controls expo.

Overall members can expect to raise their awareness of the importance of scope definition and common issues that impact this phase, along with an overview of smart solutions that can support this phase.
