Sam Davy
Civil Engineer
This workshop is entirely dedicated to Attribute 1, for members aspiring to EngTech, IEng and CEng qualifications.
The ICE South West Bristol & Bath GSA Committee is hosting the next session in a series of informal Attribute Workshop sessions. This online event will focus on Attribute 1: understanding and practical application of engineering.
The workshop will allow participants to get additional support from local ICE Membership Development Officer, Suzanne Willis (Bristol). Suzanne will provide an overview of the attribute including recent changes through Membership Streamlining.
Suzanne will be joined by two recently Chartered Civil Engineers, Sam Davy CEng MICE from Wood Group and Allen Ojema CEng MICE MIFireE from Atkins, who will share examples of how they demonstrated their knowledge and experience specific to this attribute on their IPD. Roula Murray EngTech MICE will also discuss how she demonstrated this attribute as part of her technician professional review.
The session is intended to support all those working towards ICE membership, whether you are a student who is just starting out, a technician or an experienced graduate close to sitting your Professional Review.

A series of web-based workshops aimed at graduate, student and technician members who are working toward EngTech, IEng or CEng with the ICE. These workshops provide advice and guidance on recording Initial Professional Development (IPD), broken down by attribute.

This is an opportunity for Technician members (EngTech MICE/FICE) and those wishing to become qualified at EngTech grade to come together to discuss issues that are important to technicians. This session explores becoming an ICE EngTech reviewer, with benefits and applying.

Join the ECNet for this technical webinar about the design of active travel infrastructure. Two Incorporated Engineers from Mott MacDonald will share key learning from a redevelopment scheme focusing on active travel, and a new layout for the design of CYCLOPS junctions.
