Overview
SSE Renewables, in conjunction with Principal Contractor RJ McLeod and wind turbine supplier Vestas, have been constructing Viking Energy wind farm since the summer of 2020.
Located in the centre of the mainland of the Shetland Islands, this remote 103 turbine site is nearing completion of the civils phase of Works and delivery of turbine components have commenced.
This presentation will provide insight into how the project team has overcome the challenges faced over the past three years.
