Botley Bypass is a new 1.8km road including a bridge over the River Hamble, a new roundabout, and improved footways and cycleways.
Construction started: Spring 2025
Planned completion: Late Summer 2027
Why is the scheme happening?
- Make journeys quicker and easier
- Keep Botley village quieter and cleaner
- Help people walk and cycle more
- Make space for new homes and jobs
During the event there will be a talk on the scheme alongside a walking tour of the site around the new bridge structure, highway construction and new roundabout.
Minimum PPE:
- Hi Vis Jacket
- Safety boots
- Hard Hat
If you can, please wear the following PPE:
- Hi Vis Trousers
- Safety Glasses
- Gloves
Please arrive on site in your PPE.
If you need assistance traversing the site, there will be some spaces in some site vehicles to give you the opportunity to see the site. Please let us know if this is the case when you sign up.
This is joint event between the South Branch and South Branch ECNet and will be a good networking event for those early in their careers.
