Paige Barrett

Paige is in the fifth year of her apprenticeship. She began with a BTEC qualification at Coleg Gwent and is now completing a degree apprenticeship through the University of South Wales.

She joined Arcadis in 2021, initially supporting the £300 million A465 Section 2 scheme before joining the project management team for the £1.2 billion A465 Sections 5 and 6 scheme.

During a secondment with the Welsh Government, she supported land acquisitions for A465 Sections 5 and 6 and worked as a Part 1 Claims Officer.

Her experience with Arcadis and the Welsh Government has allowed her to apply what she has learned through their studies to her day-to-day work. She has found it particularly rewarding to see how that knowledge is used in practice and to contribute to the projects themselves.

Lewis Fouweathe IEng MICE

Lewis began his apprenticeship in 2015 and completed it in 2022. During that time, he completed Level 3, Level 5 and degree apprenticeships. He achieved Engineering Technician (EngTech) registration in 2019 and Incorporated Engineer (IEng) registration in 2023.

At Taylor Woodrow, he progressed from Assistant Engineer to Section Manager, working across multiple disciplines on projects including Fawley FAST, the Piccadilly Line Upgrade, Filton Bank 4 Track and Hylton Castle Substation.
