What can students expect from an engineering interview? How can they make a positive impression? And what are industry professionals looking for in future engineers?
ICE Glasgow & West of Scotland Early Careers Network is delighted to invite engineering students to this interactive interview workshop.
The event is designed to help students prepare for placements, internships and graduate opportunities by providing practical insights from professionals working across the engineering industry.
The evening will begin with a short presentation covering interview preparation, employability skills and tips for navigating the recruitment process.
Students will then take part in rotating mock interview sessions, moving between tables hosted by engineering professionals from a range of organisations.
These informal discussions will give attendees the opportunity to practise interview techniques, receive constructive feedback and ask questions about careers in engineering.
The workshop concludes with an informal networking session, allowing students to continue conversations with professionals and fellow students in a relaxed environment.
Whether preparing for upcoming applications or simply looking to gain a better understanding of industry expectations, this event offers a valuable opportunity to build confidence and learn from experienced engineers.
Refreshments will be provided.
