In June 2026, ICE HKA G&S organised a delegation to France and Belgium which aimed to enhance exposure of civil engineering graduates and students to good engineering practices overseas. A series of visits to engineering sites and sharing sessions with the local engineers were held in the delegation.
Throughout the 9-day trip, participants had the opportunity to appreciate various novel engineering ideas and construction technologies applied to the mega-infrastructure projects. Study report of the trip will be shared at the seminar. The winners of the student prize for the delegation will be invited to share their takeaways from the delegation, and how the delegation has shaped their professional development. Details of the seminar can be found below:

Note
- Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis, with priority given to ICE HKA G&S members.
- Only successful applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail.
- The event will be conducted in English.
- Attendance certificates will be provided after two weeks of the event only if attendees participate for the whole event.
- The above is subject to change without prior notice.
- Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events.
Adverse weather arrangements
The event will be cancelled or rescheduled to another date in case of a black rainstorm signal or typhoon signal no. 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at or after 12.00. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event in view of safety or other considerations.
