Overview

While many people support sustainability in principle, it has yet to become embedded in everyday engineering culture. It can be difficult to discuss confidently and effectively – the topic is often complex, the benefits can feel distant, and technical language can create barriers to understanding and engagement.

With the effects of the climate crisis becoming increasingly visible and the window for meaningful action rapidly narrowing, it has never been more important for engineers to effectively communicate the value of sustainability and inspire positive change.

This event aims to:

  • Understand barriers to effective communication of sustainability.
  • Give practical insights from communication and sustainability industry leaders.
  • Leave with actions to improve conversations with colleagues, clients and the public.
