Overview

Attribute 3: commercial ability

A member of the Early Careers Network will give an overview of the attribute and introduce the session’s speaker Lucy Ashen who will give real life examples and tips on how to complete this attribute. 

The session will break out into smaller groups to enable chats about the attribute, focusing on types of evidence you could use to complete this attribute. The session will end with a Q&A session, which will be supported by a member of the ICE.

These workshops are organised by the ICE North East, North West, and Yorkshire and Humber Early Career Network (ECN) committees. If you are interested in finding out more and getting involved with the ECN, please contact [email protected] in the first instance.

Lucy Ashen

Lucy Ashen is a passionate and enthusiastic Chartered Civil Engineer with a keen interest in the promotion of nature-based solutions (NBS), catchment solutions and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) within the water industry. Lucy currently works as a project leader at Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB). She is actively delivering AMP8 schemes for Yorkshire Water. Lucy is recently chartered with the ICE and will talk about her experience completing the commercial attribute, giving real-life examples and tips on how to complete this attribute.
