Join the Early Careers Network for this technical webinar where Nathan Turrell, a recently Incorporated Civil Engineer, and Jared Harvey, an Incorporated Traffic Engineer, both working at Mott MacDonald, will each deliver a short presentation sharing lessons from their work designing active travel infrastructure.
Nathan is a recently Incorporated Civil Engineer based in Norwich, with experience focused on highway design, primarily in local streets and active travel. He will be presenting on embedding active travel in the Grafton Centre redevelopment project, to reposition it as a more connected part of Cambridge.
Jared has completed a degree apprenticeship and achieved his IEng through the Institution of Civil Engineers, and now works as a traffic engineer in the transport planning sector, with a focus on active travel and bus priority. He will be presenting on re-thinking the CYCLOPS junction, sharing an alternative layout for constrained urban environments.
Each presentation will last approximately fifteen minutes, with plenty of time left at the end for questions – so come curious!
