Fellowship applications

Fellowship, is our highest grade of membership. It's for civil engineers and technicians who've made a substantial contribution to the profession.

You can apply to join the UK Register of Ground Engineering Professionals (RoGEP if you're chartered with ICE; the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IoM3); or the Geological Society London (GSL).

European Engineer (EUR ING) applications

Chartered Engineers (CEng) can apply for additional registration as a European Engineer. This entitles you to use the letters EUR ING before your name.

International Professional Engineer (IntPE) /International Engineering Technologists (IntET) applications

Registration as an IntPE or IntET.

Recognition applications

There are no closing dates for applications for the following: recognition of EU professional qualifications, Engineering Council registration and mutual recognition. You can submit your application at any time and you'll receive the result of your assessment within four months after we've confirmed receipt of your complete application.

End-point assessments

ICE offers End-point assessments for a number of apprenticeships.
These will be held in the following locations:

Professional Review dates

Professional Reviews are held in a number of centres around the world. You can see their locations in the tables below.

If we can’t accommodate you in your preferred centre, you’ll be given the opportunity to sit your Review somewhere else. Priority is given to local candidates at smaller centres, where there may be limited capacity.

ICE now offer remote Professional Reviews via video conference, please see the Professional Review webpage for more details.

If you are applying for your technician review we now organise these on a more regular basis these are in addition to the main centres, see the technician review tab or contact technicians@ice.org.uk with your location and we’ll let you know what’s else is available near you.

If you applying for a Technical Report Review (TRR) please also see the additional TRR dates, as well as the dates below.

If you are based overseas and there are no suitable locations listed contact us to discuss your situation as we may be able to arrange your Review in a location that’s not listed, but we can't guarantee this.
