Introduction to earthquakes

Introduction to earthquakes.

Talks will include discussion of nuclear earthquake engineering issues, as well as a demonstration of a seismic qualification test on the Bristol shaking table.

The seminar will concentrate on principles so that delegates can pursue independent detailed study from a secure conceptual background. The seminar will be suitable for engineers of all levels wishing to gain better knowledge of earthquake engineering.
