This year’s ICE People’s Choice Award opens on 9 September and it’s a chance for members and the general public to choose their favourite civil engineering project.
The award celebrates and recognises the best civil engineering projects, ones that have made a
positive impact on their local area and communities.
Ten nominated civil engineering projects will be announced on 9 September via the ICE website and social media channels. Voting opens on the same day.
All voters are automatically entered into a prize draw* to win an Amazon Echo Dot **.
Voting closes on 27 September 2019.
The ICE People’s Choice Award 2019 winner will be announced at the ICE Presidential Address on 12 November 2019.
Last year, ICE People’s Choice Award was won by the Kaikoura earthquake recovery project
in New Zealand with almost 70,000 people across the world casting a vote.
Please encourage family, friends and colleagues to get involved so we can help people to understand the benefits that good civil engineering projects have on their everyday lives.
You can also follow #ICEPeoplesChoice on social media.
* The winner of the prize draw will be chosen randomly and notified by Friday 11 October 2019.
** Amazon is not an ICE People’s Choice Award sponsor.
