Nominations are now open to join the committee that makes recommendations for the selection of senior positions at the ICE.
Two vacancies for ICE members have opened on the ICE Nomination Committee (NOMCO).
The committee is responsible for making recommendations for the selection of senior positions at the ICE, such as the president.
The Orr Commission identified it as one of the critical committees in the institution.
NOMCO will meet in the autumn to recommend candidates for the vacant positions.
Those elected to NOMCO will serve for a three-year period starting in November 2026.
More detail on the role of NOMCO can be found in its terms of reference.
How to submit a nomination
Those who would like to be considered for election to NOMCO should complete the nomination form and send it to [email protected].
All nominations should arrive no later than 12:00 BST on 24 July 2026.
The institution positively welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
Appointing high-calibre people from diverse backgrounds, with relevant skills, knowledge and experience, to the boards and committees of the ICE will help to ensure that its work is more effective, resilient and accountable.
Current members of the ICE Trustee Board and ICE Council are not eligible to stand for these positions.
