It's time to develop a coherent and coordinated strategic roadmap, which integrates demand and supply measures to ensure our water security.
ICE recommends that UK Governments establish a UK Water Security Task Force to:
- Establish how much water we have
- Explore how to use current resources better
- Incentivise behaviour change to reduce water demand and consumption
- Develop new resources in a sustainable and cost-effective way
