It's time to develop a coherent and coordinated strategic roadmap, which integrates demand and supply measures to ensure our water security.

ICE recommends that UK Governments establish a UK Water Security Task Force to:

  • Establish how much water we have
  • Explore how to use current resources better
  • Incentivise behaviour change to reduce water demand and consumption
  • Develop new resources in a sustainable and cost-effective way
