CPD guidance document
A guide to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for ICE members - what CPD is and why it's important
Welcome to the newly upgraded ICE CPD recording tool.
New features include an improved search function, the ability to see your objectives organised by status and a more seamless user experience. Tips on how to use the tool can be found within the revised guidance document. For any issues, please contact [email protected] or +44 (0) 20 7665 2334.
The CPD online recording tool allows you to create, record and track your own development objectives and record your learning activities.
Sign in to see your objectives.
Identifying the value added from CPD activities will help you to evaluate your learning and should contribute to your future development planning.
To read more about ICE’s recommended CPD Cycle approach please see the ICE CPD Guidance.
Need to submit your CPD records for an application or as part of the annual CPD audit? You can download your DAP and PDR at any time by using the search tool by selecting the relevant objectives and exporting it in your preferred format (PDF, Word or Excel).
It is a private tool, not visible to other members or third parties. ICE monitors the tool for statistical purposes and can provide advice and support on request.
If you are experiencing difficulties using the CPD tool, please email [email protected] for assistance.
You can download your CPD records via the 'Search' tab.
Search for the records to download then select all the objectives you would like to publish by clicking the box next to the objective date.
Once you have selected all the relevant objectives you can click Download and choose to download your records as a .pdf or .docx file.
When adding an Activity you have the option to add supporting documents. These documents must be in the excel, pdf, word, or jpg formats. The maximum file size is 1MB.
ICE staff are not able to access your records on MyICE so you will need to download and submit your records to our dedicated CPD Audit Upload portal if you receive an audit request.
Please report any issues to [email protected]
After 20 minutes of inactivity users are logged out of their sessions and any unsaved changes are lost.
