Queensferry Crossing – Inception to Completion

The new Queensferry Crossing Bridge was opened by Her Majesty, The Queen on 4 September 2017 following 10 years of design, planning and construction.

The lecture will highlight how the bridge, the world’s longest three tower cable-stayed bridge, was realised within a tight timeframe, highlighting some of the lessons learnt and issues involved.
