Overview

As part of Innovation Month, this site visit will explore the implementation of sustainable construction materials at 7 Millbank, a major redevelopment project in central London. The event will provide insight into how innovation is shaping material selection, sustainability performance, and modern construction practices within a live urban development.

Participants will gain an understanding of the different types of materials being used on the project, including their environmental performance, durability, and contribution towards sustainable construction objectives. The session will also examine the practical advantages and limitations associated with different construction materials during the construction process, as well as how innovation supports more sustainable project delivery.

The visit will include a guided site walkaround, technical presentations from project representatives, and opportunities for discussion regarding innovative construction techniques, material efficiency, and sustainability challenges facing the industry.
