Book nowWho is this for? Supervising civil engineers (SCEs) and delegated engineer (DEs) for the ICE training scheme, or mentors for mentor supported training.
When to attend? Approx. twice a year, please attend the sessions offered for your region if possible but note online forums are also advertised on the website which are not region specific
Why attend? To enhance your understanding of the roles and your responsibilities and to keep up to date with current requirements.
How long is the session? Approx. 90 mins with opportunity for discussion throughout
What will it contain? The opportunity to discuss and learn from other SCEs, DEs and mentors and from ICE staff who will also provide key updates and tips relevant to your role.
Before joining a forum and for a refresher on your role you could read the ICE training scheme guidance, or the mentor supported training guidance, as appropriate, and you may also wish to watch some of our short essential guidance recordings.
The session will be delivered by MS Teams.

Donna is the Membership Manager, and also covers the MDO role in the East and South East of Scotland. Donna works full-time, and will also respond to any membership queries by email or phone from members in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

This course is designed to give developing professionals a strong foundation in sustainable engineering, equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills to effectively integrate sustainability into their work.

An engaging presentation that challenges that structural concrete design is satisfactory provided it complies with codes of practice. Despite code compliance, designs may be in an insufficient condition for acceptable concrete performance.
