As part of the Emerging Engineers programme, the Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers (AACE) is holding a series of student awards in collaboration with the University of Aberdeen. The main event as part of these awards is the Fourth-Year Civil Engineering Dissertation Competition. Three finalists selected by the university will present to branch members on their topic, with a final winner chosen by AACE on the night. Come along, hear, and support the latest budding civil engineers.
The winning dissertation presentation will be announced on the night, alongside the winners of the University of Aberdeen's First Year, Second Year, Third Year and Master's Year Civil Engineering Course Awards. The event is being hosted by the University of Aberdeen in the Sir Duncan Rice Library, with wonderful views over Aberdeen.
The event will include refreshments at 5:30 pm, with the presentations starting at 6:00 pm.
Parking is available at the Bedford Road car park, adjacent to the library and accessible from St Machar Drive and Bedford Road.
