Lewis Hoggan

Lewis is a director at Crafter Engineering and leads the company’s Glasgow office. With over twenty years of diverse industry experience, he has built a broad range of expertise through roles as a site engineer, with proprietary equipment suppliers, and for principal contractors. This varied background enables him to lead the delivery of safe, efficient, and practical temporary works designs for projects across Scotland and the wider UK.

Lewis is a strong advocate for the Institution of Civil Engineers and actively contributes as a mentor and reviewer. He currently serves as vice chair of the ICE Glasgow and West of Scotland branch and is due to take up the role of chair in October. As a STEM Ambassador, Lewis regularly delivers presentations at universities and schools, helping to inspire and encourage the next generation of civil engineers.
