Designed for current and future decision makers in the profession who are either developing or interpreting construction contracts, this series delves into the nuances of Scots law and how these nuances could affect the everyday delivery of a construction contract. 

This is the third of a five‑part series delivered by Morton Fraser MacRoberts LLP in partnership with the ICE Glasgow and West of Scotland Branch.

Gavin Thomson

Gavin is a Partner in MFMac's Contentious Construction team.

Gavin advises employers, main contractors, sub-contractors and members of the design team on a broad spectrum of construction and engineering disputes, from residential defect claims to complex, multi-million-pound energy and infrastructure disputes.

He supports clients through formal dispute resolution procedures, including court actions, arbitrations and adjudications, while also spending a significant proportion of his time exploring alternative dispute resolution strategies to help clients identify the most appropriate and efficient way to manage and resolve disputes.
