Overview

Designed for current and future decision makers in the profession who are either developing or interpreting construction contracts, this series delves into the nuances of Scots law and how these nuances could affect the everyday delivery of a construction contract. 

Giving a general introduction to forms of procurement, this session will feature a presentation from Sarah Pengelly, legal director in MFMac's Construction team.

The seminar marks the beginning of a five‑part series delivered by Morton Fraser MacRoberts LLP in partnership with the ICE Glasgow and West of Scotland Branch.

Sarah Pengelly

Sarah has extensive experience in both jurisdictions across the energy, infrastructure, transport and real estate sectors.

She has advised on projects of all sizes and values, specialising in drafting construction and engineering contracts, including ancillary documents such as professional appointments, framework/call-off arrangements, construction contracts and contracts for supply and installation, operation and maintenance and long-term support, as well as providing advice on construction procurement arrangements.

Sarah has an LLM in Construction Law is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in construction law.
