Book nowJoin us for a networking evening where those early in their career or currently working towards a professional qualification can find out more about the ICE, the different routes to membership, and opportunities to network with fellow professionals. The event is open to graduates, students, technicians, apprentices and those with more extensive industry experience.
This year’s event will be held in person and will include a presentation on how to attain professional registration with the ICE, as well as an insight into the activities of the Glasgow and West of Scotland Committee.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to Sabine, the Membership Development Officer for our area, as well as members of the Graduate and Student Committee in Glasgow.
The event will also cover the different routes to obtaining professional qualifications, including options available to those with extensive industry experience. We will also discuss the benefits of ICE membership and how membership can support your professional development and career progression.
The event will begin at 5:45pm and run until about 8.00pm. After the presentation, food and soft drinks will be provided and there will be an opportunity for attendees to network with each other.

As part of the Emerging Engineers programme, the Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers (AACE) is holding a series of student awards in collaboration with the University of Aberdeen. The main event as part of these awards is the Fourth-Year Civil Engineering Dissertation Competition.

Join the ICE Scotland committee for its annual general meeting, which introduces the new chair, Kevin Smith. Followed by an informative presentation from ICE trustee Lewis Barlow.
