Overview

This webinar will provide graduate and student members with a practical overview of ICE membership and the opportunities it can offer throughout their professional development. It will explain the eligibility requirements for membership and introduce the different membership grades available at various stages of an engineering career.

The speakers will discuss the importance and benefits of professional membership, including how ICE membership can support professional development, professional recognition and career progression. The session will also explain the different membership grades and how they relate to professional qualification.

A key focus of the webinar will be the routes towards chartership, providing attendees with a clearer understanding of the pathways available and the steps involved in progressing towards professionally qualified membership. The session will be particularly relevant to students, graduates and early-career civil engineers seeking to better understand their membership options and plan their professional development.
