ICE Pathways Coffee: the next evolution of BIM

Overview

As part of the ICE Pathways initiative, these events are aimed at ICE members who are professionally qualified or those with 8+ years’ experience or, although open to anyone at a similar career stage.

They are designed to support engineers navigating the transition into more senior roles, including managing people, winning work, building networks, and maintaining team wellbeing.

This event explores the future of Building Information Modelling (BIM), following the evolution from its origins in 3D modelling to the use of scripting and automation tools that are transforming design workflows.

It will also consider how BIM could support a move towards paperless project delivery and what this means for the future of the industry.

Ingrid Valceschini (FICE) will present and lead a discussion on the next evolution of BIM and automation tools.
