Overview

The transition to the 2nd Generation Eurocodes represents a significant development in structural design standards across Europe in recent years.

Hosted by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Republic of Ireland Branch, with presentations from the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) and Kavanagh Mansfield & Partners, this webinar will explain the background to the development of the 2nd Generation Eurocodes.

Participants will receive an update on the Irish implementation programme, including the publication timetable for the new standards, the anticipated transition arrangements, and the role of National Annexes in facilitating national implementation. The webinar will also outline the process being followed in Ireland for the development of supporting National Annexes and provide an overview of progress to date.
