ICE has a Local Association and the Early Careers Network (ECNet) Committee in the Republic of Ireland.
Committee members are volunteers and come from a range of backgrounds within the civil engineering profession.
Find out more about the committees and groups, including who's involved and how you can get in touch.
The Republic of Ireland Local Association arranges events, visits to ongoing engineering projects and social activities for ICE members based in the Republic of Ireland. This gives members the opportunity to share knowledge and network with other professional civil engineers.
For more information, please contact our regional representative, Yvonne Murphy at: [email protected]
The association is always looking for new committee members. If you have a few hours to spare we would be pleased to have you on board.

The Republic of Ireland ECNet Committee supports members who are working towards their professional qualifications. It organises activities to help them develop the knowledge and skills they need.
There are currently about 140 graduate and 77 student ICE members in the Republic of Ireland.
The ECNet Committee organises events and competitions to help members develop their careers. The group also provides support and opportunities for like-minded people to meet and socialise.
The ECNet Committee meets monthly on Zoom. Please check the Republic of Ireland LinkedIn page, or contact ICE International at [email protected] to receive joining instructions.
Getting involved in the ECNet Committee will help you make the most of your ICE membership.
It gives members valuable experience of working with members in the industry outside of their own workplace. It also helps them develop negotiation, organisation and budgetary skills, which they'll be able to use throughout their professional life.
An ICE representative from the Republic of Ireland attends GSNet (ICE's Graduate and Students Network) meetings, which helps members link up with the UK network.
