Join us aboard the SS Great Britain for an unforgettable evening of elegant dining and fascinating maritime history.
The conference’s gala dinner offers exceptional cuisine and entertainment in a truly unique venue. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and launched in 1843 as the world’s first iron-hulled, screw-propelled ocean liner, this pioneering vessel has been meticulously restored to her former glory.
The event will start with a drinks reception on the weather deck, offering fine views across Bristol Harbour, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner menu. This will be served in the first-class dining saloon – a magnificent setting with period details that will transport you back to the golden age of ocean travel.
Throughout dinner, you’ll be entertained by live period music and regaled with stories about the ship’s remarkable past.

Visit to Avonmouth docks

Make the most of your time at the conference by visiting Avonmouth Docks and some of the assets forming part of the Avonmouth Severnside Enterprise Area’s ecology mitigation and flood defence project.
The tour, which will start from the conference hotel includes a talk by staff from the Bristol Port Company and the Environment Agency.
