FAQs
Coastal Management 2025 is an essential global event for coastal and marine engineers, consultants working on coastal engineering projects, or anyone connected with the sector.
You don’t have to be a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers to either speak or attend.
Coastal Management 2025 will be taking place between 16-18 September 2025 and will be held at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Bristol City Centre in Bristol in the southwest of England.
To be considered, you will need to submit an abstract for review by the organising committee. Visit our abstract tab for more information on how to submit your abstract.
The ICE has negotiated a special room rate at the main conference venue. We will release information on how to obtain this discount shortly, but there are also several other accommodation options nearby.
In addition to an optional short course prior to the start of the conference and site visits to local coastal engineering projects, activities will include networking receptions and a dinner aboard Brunel’s SS Great Britain. Stay up to date with all the details by joining the Coastal LinkedIn Group.
Short courses are a tradition of Coastal Management – and 2025’s event will be no exception. We are still working on the course to make it as relevant as possible, so details will be available nearer the conference. Stay up to date with everything that is going on, including details of the short course, by joining the Coastal LinkedIn Group.
As a charity, the ICE always tries to minimise the cost of event attendance. Prices will be announced shortly, with discounts available to those working for local authorities, government agencies, charities and NGOs. You’ll also be able to take advantage of special early-bird rates. Full details will be made available in the next few months.
