Australia

Sydney Harbour, Australia

There are around 2,340 ICE members living in Australia and working on a huge range of projects across the country.

At the heart of everything we do in Australia are the five ICE representatives and Local Associations, based in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. They help arrange learned society events, visits to ongoing engineering projects and social activities. They also play a vital role in helping to increase the profile of civil engineering.

As well as the Local Associations, there are several ICE graduate and student groups that support members working towards professional qualification. Professional Review interviews are held annually in Australia, most recently in Sydney and Perth.

We have two part time staff who support our work in Australia. This includes co-ordinating activities with our members in Australia, supporting our committees and providing membership advice. Staff also support companies running ICE training schemes in the Trans Tasman region. For more details please contact us.
