ICE HKA G&S has welcomed 15 members to the new G&S committee for the 2023-24 session.
The new members were selected after an election held earlier this year.
Their installment into the committee took place at ICE HKA G&S’s 22nd AGM and awards presentation ceremony, which was held on 10 June at the Cityview in Hong Kong.
The AGM
A total of 43 participants joined the event, which included G&S committee members, co-opted members, university student representatives and recipients of awards presented by the committee.
Joining the meeting were:

The institution reiterated its full support for the committee’s endeavours for the 2023-24 session.
Agenda passed with no amendments
The AGM began with Sampson Tam, honorary secretary of the 2022-23, inviting proposers and seconders to confirm the minutes of the 21st AGM.
Chevy Chan, chair of the 2022-23 session, presented the chair’s report next, which was promptly adopted.
This was followed by the annual financial report for 2022 by Happy Wong, honorary treasurer of the 2022-23 session, which was also readily adopted.
Tam then announced the election results for the ICE HKA G&S session 2023-24 and introduced the 15 members of the new committee.
Lastly, the committee members of ICE HKA G&S session 2023-2024 were installed.
All items on the agenda of the 22nd AGM were passed with no amendments.
Awards presentation
Certificates of appreciation were then presented to the committee members, co-opted members, and student representatives who served in G&S for session 2022-2023.
Certificates for the Outstanding Helper Awards, recipients of which were elected by the outgoing committee, were also presented.
The awards recognised the contribution they have made over the past year.
The AGM marks the completion of session 2022-2023, and the start of the current session.
